  • PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Originally built in 1965, the Tulsa Central Library was in need of renovation with energy-efficiency as a top priority of the project along and a goal of creating a more centralized HVAC system so that there was more usable space on each floor of the library.  The system needed to have a limited acoustic impact on the library.  The solution... a hybrid chilled beam HVAC system.  The new design would feature active chilled beams with linear bar grill, including some in exposed mount installation with coanda plate.
