Active chilled beams Type DID312 for air-water systems permits a comfortable air conditioning of rooms with a high cooling load. The flow characteristics of ceiling diffusers and the energetic advantages of water as a medium for load dissipation are optimally used.
Due to its flat construction, Type DID312 is particularly suited for low false ceilings in new buildings and for the refurbishment of existing buildings with clear room heights of 2.60 – 4.00 m.
The primary air volume flow required for the purposes of fresh air supply is discharged via a primary duct with nozzles. The resultant induced secondary air is drawn in from the room and conveyed through the heat exchanger. In the mixing zone of the DID300 units the secondary air is mixed with the primary air and supplied to the room via discharge slots.
The DID300 diffuser can be employed for cooling and/or heating purposes. The flat design of the DID300 units makes them ideal for use in low false ceilings. They can be deployed for both individual room control and group-wise zone control, subject to appropriate interconnection.
