Indicating the operating state of fume hoods


A control panel is only supplied if the TCU-II system is used as a fume hood controller

The operating state of the fume hood is indicated on the control panel. The system is configured to monitor the volume flow and / or the intake speed. This functional monitoring is stipulated by DIN EN 14175 and helps to ensure the safety of the fume hood user. If the specified conditions are not met, the alarm indicator lamp lights up and an acoustic alarm sounds.

The standard control panel can only be used in combination with certain control components.

TCU-II Control panel
  • Indicator LED for Alarm / operation mode / Vmax

  • Acoustic alarm

  • Indication of supply voltage failure

  • Buttons Acoustic alarm off / Vmax activation

  • Integrated service socket



    • Indicator LED for operation state Alarm (red) / Normal operation (green) / Vmax operation (yellow)

    • Acoustic alarm

    • Failure of the supply voltage is indicated by a buffered flashing LED.

    • Buttons for switching off acoustic alarm / activation of max. volume flow

    • Integrated service socket for connecting a PC with configuration software

    • Connection to the TCU-II system board via a prefabricated cable (4 m)

    • Extension cables with a length of 5 m are available as an option

    • Casing dimensions approx. 23 x 150 x 19 mm for installation on fume hood housing

    • The casing can be removed for installation of the control panel into the fume cupboard housing
