Summation and balancing of volume flows - Generation of group alarm messages


LON-WA5/B - TAG is a module for the summation and balancing of volume flows and the generation of group alarm messages.

The LON functionalities were implemented exclusively through the use of standard network variable types (SNVT), so that the module can be readily integrated into superordinate systems. The respectively function to be used is defined in an individual configuration during commissioning.

    Summation/balancing function

    • Available input signals:
      - 2 Volume flow signals via analogue 0-10 V inputs
      - 16 Volume flows via standard network variables on LON bus
      - 4 Switchable constant volume flows (exhaust hoods, cabinets, etc.) via potential-free switches at the digital inputs

    • Output signal (calculated volume flow sum/balance) can be picked up via:
      - Analogue output as a 0-10 V signal
      - Standard network variable via LON bus



    Generation of group alarm messages

    • Available inputs:
      - 16 Alarm inputs via standard network variables on LON bus

    • Group alarm output can be picked up via:
      - Digital output with changeover relay for switch contacts
      - Standard network variable via LON bus



    Project-related special solutions

    In addition to the standard use of LON-WA5/B - TAG, project-related special solutions can be implemented with the existing digital and analogue inputs and outputs.
