Complete in 2010, the ISU Biorenewables Research Lab is the first phase of the University's biorenewables complex, designed to support interdisciplinary research and teaching; promote education and outreach; and to serve as a model for sustainability. Part of this model of sustainability included the use of DID602 active chilled beams in laboratories; an advanced daylight design; and bioswales and rain gardens.
